How we keep zlarp fun and innocent

zlarp is a marketplace of simulator apps: realistic versions of apps people know, made for content, pranks and fun. It only works if it stays harmless, so there is one thing we keep out of every app: transactions you make up yourself.

Kept

balances, cards, charts and the full look of the app

Kept out

transactions, statements and receipts you write yourself

What zlarp is

Every app on zlarp is a simulator. It looks and moves like the app it is inspired by, so it is great on camera, in a video, or as a joke with friends. Nothing real sits behind it.

No banking or financial apps

zlarp does not host banking or financial apps. No app on zlarp holds, moves or connects to real money, a real bank account or a real crypto wallet.

No transactions you make up

This is the main rule. An app on zlarp may not let you create or edit your own transactions. In a wallet or a crypto wallet simulator, you can't type in a payment, choose who it went to, set an amount and a date, and mark it as completed.

The same goes for anything that reads as a financial record: no apps that make statements, receipts or payment confirmations.

What you can still do

Everything else that makes a simulator fun stays. The names, the icons, the design and the animations. Balances, cards, portfolios and charts. Apps can also come with activity that is built in by their developer, as part of the experience, the same for everyone who opens the app.

Why we draw the line there

A big balance on a screen is a flex, and everyone in on the joke can see it for what it is. A transaction record you wrote yourself is different: it can be shown to someone as proof that money moved. That isn't what zlarp is for, so it isn't something our apps do.

When an app breaks the rules

We get to know every developer personally before they can publish on zlarp, and they agree to these rules. If an app breaks them anyway, we take it down, and the developer can lose the right to publish.

If you see an app that lets you make up transactions, please report it. A person reads every report. For anything else, message us on Telegram at @zlarpofficial.
