How zlarp works

Every app here is built for your phone, your computer, or both. The little tag under each app tells you which one you're looking at.

Mobile apps

Under the hood these are websites, but you won't use them like one. You add the app to your home screen, and from then on it opens from its own icon, full screen, with no address bar. It looks and feels like any other app on your phone. It only takes a few taps, and we walk you through them right after you buy.

They send real notifications too. Once an app is on your home screen it can light up your lock screen just like the real one would, whether that's a new order coming into Shopify or a deposit landing in Phantom.

Desktop apps

These work like any website you already use. Once you've got access you get a link, you sign in with your zlarp account, and you're in. Nothing to download, nothing to set up.

For desktop apps we made something you won't find anywhere else: the zlarp Browser. It's Google Chrome with one extra trick. Press Ctrl+Shift+L and you can make the address bar say whatever you like, so the address at the top matches the page underneath it.

It's free, for both Windows and Mac.

We build every app to be impossible to tell apart from the real one, down to the pixel. And when the real app changes its look, we update ours to match, so it never falls behind. If you're curious how we pull that off, here's the whole story.

Our apps aren't islands. They all run on the same zlarp backbone, so they can work together the way the real ones do.

For the crypto apps, that means you can actually send money from one to another. Send from your Phantom to your Trust Wallet and it shows up there, with a real address and a real transaction behind it. Prices come from the live market, so the numbers you see are the numbers everyone else sees.

You can pay by card or in crypto. Cards go through Stripe and crypto goes through NOWPayments, two providers you've probably paid through before. That covers pretty much every way people pay online, from Visa and Mastercard to Apple Pay and Google Pay, plus over 300 cryptocurrencies. Your card details never touch our servers.

How much of yourself you share is up to you.

When you buy, you pick how long you want the app for: a month, six months, lifetime, or anything in between. Go for 6 months or more and the whole thing is 33% off. On a card your plan renews until you cancel, and lifetime is a single payment. With crypto you pay once for the time you chose, and you can press Extend whenever you want more.

We're the cheapest on the market for most of what we offer, and there's a simple reason: we build every single app ourselves. Plenty of others resell the same white-label product with their name on it. We don't.

Once a mobile app is yours, press Open. Before it opens we play a short walkthrough on a phone so you can follow along. In case you'd like it in writing:

iPhone, in Safari

1. Tap the Share button.
2. Scroll down and tap Add to Home Screen.
3. Tap Add, and the icon appears next to your other apps.

Android, in Chrome

1. Tap the ⋮ menu in the corner.
2. Tap Add to Home screen or Install app.

You sign in the first time and it remembers you after that. The one catch is that it needs an internet connection, because every launch quickly checks your access is still active.

Every app has a hidden panel we call Backstage. It's where you set the names, numbers and pictures the app shows. There isn't a button for it, on purpose, so nothing on screen gives the app away.

1. Press and hold the very top of the screen for about a second. You'll see the strip up there brighten as it charges.
2. Let go when the panel slides up, and change anything you like.
3. Close it. Everything saves as you type.

On a computer it's the same idea: hold the mouse button down on the top edge of the window.

Everything you own lives in your Library, each with an Open button. It's also where you can see when a plan renews or runs out, add more time, update your card, or cancel. If you do cancel, the app keeps working until the time you paid for is up.
