Every app on zlarp wears a Simulator tag
Prop money in films is printed with a line that says what it is. Every app on zlarp carries the same kind of line: a small tag that says Simulator. Here is what it looks like, where you will find it, and what it promises.
The prop money rule
A film crew needs cash that looks like cash on camera. So prop money is made to read right from across a room, and to tell the truth up close: the note itself says it is for motion picture use only. Nobody holding one is in any doubt about what it is.
zlarp apps work the same way. They are made to look great in a video, a skit or a joke with friends, and they say plainly, where people look, that they are simulators.
What the tag looks like
Small and plain on purpose. It is a label, not a warning sign, so it sits quietly in a corner, out of the way of the app, and it is always there. The clapperboard is there because that is what the apps are for: content.
Where you'll see it
In the app
On every account and every screen, a small chip in a corner, usually the bottom left, on top of the app the whole time it is open.
Checkout
Next to the app you are paying for, with the line “A simulator for content and fun. It can't hold, send or receive real money.”
Every page
In the footer of the site, saying the same thing for the whole store.
Nobody can switch it off
We add the tag ourselves, from the layer that hosts every app, so there is no setting inside an app that turns it off. Every app we sell is a simulator, so every app wears the tag, for every account, on every screen.
What the tag promises
Our own work. Every app on zlarp is built by us. None is made, endorsed or approved by any other company.
No real money. A zlarp app can't hold, send or receive real money, and it doesn't connect to a bank, an exchange or a real wallet. A balance in it is a number on a screen.
Nothing that passes as proof. No app lets you write your own transaction, and none makes receipts, statements or payment confirmations. Here is why that matters, and the rules every app is built to.
